What kind of home care services does HomeAides provide?

HomeAides provides numerous home care services across Northwestern PA. Our services include Personal care, Companion Care, Alzheimer & Dementia Care, Driving & Transportation services, Meal Prep, Light housework, Laundry, and respite care. Where does HomeAides provide services?

HomeAides is locally owned and operated and our main office is currently located in Erie PA. We do provide services in Western PA which include the following counties: Erie, Crawford, Venago, Warren, Forest, Mercer and Butler.

Is HomeAides open on the weekends and holidays?

HomeAides office personnel are available Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. All other times of the day are covered by an on call scheduler who will be able to answer any questions. If the on call scheduler is unable to answer your questions, the call will be directed to the office personnel to assist you.

Are the caregivers screened, certified, and insured?

Yes. Before any caregiver is becomes an employee of HomeAides, we put them through a thorough screening process which includes, interviews, reference checks, criminal background and child abuse clearances, TB screening, drug screening, and drivers background checks on all of our employees. We also provide general liability, unemployment, and worker’s comp insurance for all of our employees.

Will you have the choice of who your caregiver will be?

Yes. Every consumer has the right to know who will be coming to their home, when they will be there and what they will be doing. Your happiness is our main priority; we do not send caregivers to your home if you are not satisfied with their service. Should you be unsatisfied with any aspect of a caregivers service, we will address the problem immediately and if necessary work with you to arrange for a replacement caregiver.

How is the privacy of your personal information maintained?

We follow all applicable federal and state guidelines related to the privacy of personal and healthcare information. All of our caregivers sign a privacy policy at the time of hire. As one of our consumers, you will receive a notice regarding your right to privacy. Your information is never given to any third party who is not directly involved in your care plan or its funding.
