  • What kind of home care services does HomeAides provide?

    HomeAides provides numerous in-home care services in Erie, PA, and across Northwest PA. Our services include personal care, companion care, Alzheimer's & Dementia care, respite home care, and transportation services. To inquire more about our services, please give us a call at 814-920-4492.

  • Where does HomeAides provide services?

    HomeAides is locally owned and operated, and our main office is currently located in Erie, PA. We provide services in Northwest PA which includes the following counties: Erie, Crawford, Venango, Warren, Forest, and Mercer.

  • Is HomeAides open on the weekends and holidays?

    HomeAides office personnel are available Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. All other times of the day are covered by an on-call coordinator who will be able to address any emergencies that may occur outside of office hours.

  • Are caregivers screened, certified, and insured?

    Yes. Before any caregiver becomes a HomeAides employee, we put them through a thorough screening process which includes, interviews, reference checks, criminal background and child abuse clearances, TB screening, and drug screening checks for all of our employees. We also provide general liability, unemployment, and worker’s comp insurance for all of our employees.

  • Will you have the choice of who your caregiver will be?

    Yes. Every client has the right to know who will be coming to their home, when they will be there, and what they will be doing. Your happiness is our main priority; we do not send caregivers to your home if you are not satisfied with their service. Should you be unsatisfied with any aspect of a caregiver’s service, we will address the problem immediately, and if necessary, work with you to arrange for a replacement caregiver.

  • How is the privacy of your personal information maintained?

    We follow all applicable federal and state guidelines related to the privacy of personal and healthcare information. All of our caregivers sign a privacy policy at the time of hire. As one of our clients, you will receive a notice regarding your right to privacy. Your information is never given to any third party who is not directly involved in your care plan or its funding.
